I owe a lot of thanks to my parents for pushing me and providing the opportunities to make all of this possible. I want to thank every single coach I have had as well. They have helped shape me into the athlete and person I am today. They have helped me become more coachable and prepared me for the exciting journey that is to come,” Mya Berwald.
Berwald is not only an exceptional softball player, but also a part of the Varsity Volleyball and Varsity Basketball teams at Newaygo. She works hard day in and day out in everything she does.
“MCC is getting a special athlete in Mya. She works hard everyday and has overcome many obstacles but continues to keep her end goal in mind. I have no doubt Mya will be a great asset to the MCC softball team as a softball player and teammate. We wish her the best in her future endeavours!” Scott Van Essen, Athletic Direct at NPS.
