Lions News · Noah Graff Named 2nd Team All State


The honors continue to roll in for linebacker, Noah Graff as he has been named second team All-state for football for the 2018 season. Graff, a 5’11,  190 pound Senior has led the Lions in tackles for the last two years. In 2018 he had a total of 158 tackles with 101 first hits and 54 assists while also getting 2 sacks and 1 interception. “His closing speed to the ball is what puts him above other players. He has shown great leadership on and off the field. Noah has great football instincts and his physical play has made him a great defensive player for us,” Coach Scott Van Essen.

Football Players

For the 2018 season, Noah was named 1st Team All-Conference Linebacker in the CSAA for the second year in a row; Muskegon MLive named Graff  1st Team All-Area Linebacker Division 5-8 and 1st Team All-Area Dream Division 1-8.

“Noah has worked extremely hard during the off season as well as during the football season. His hard work has paid off, and I am excited to see what the future holds for him. He is a fierce competitor and leader and he will be missed in our program in the years to come, ” Coach Van Essen.

Graff also plays Baseball at Newaygo, and is an outstanding student in the classroom.
