Last seasWin 100on, McCracken (35-12) finished at the state tournament where he went 1-2 after taking 1st place in Regionals. He is looking to get back to the state tournament this season, and give it one last go as a Senior.

“I am really proud of Makiah. He is a true competitor and works day in and day out to compete at the highest level. It is been an honor to be his coach, and I am excited to see him continue to compete the rest of the season,” – Coach CouckeMakiah Family

McCracken wasn’t the only Lion wrestler who had a good day at Central Montcalm. Nick Simington and Mikey Lafontsee both went 4-1 and Hunter Postma finished 3-2 on the day.

The Lions will be back in action on Tuesday January 3rd at Newaygo when they will host Chippewa Hills, Grant, and Fremont in a make-up CSAA match.
